Description
The MEAN WELL BIC-5K-48 is a high-performance 5000W bidirectional power supply capable of operating as both a battery charger and energy recovery inverter. Delivering 48VDC at up to 104A, it enables efficient power conversion between AC and DC systems while supporting programmable charging profiles and intelligent system monitoring. The built-in energy recycle function returns recovered energy to the AC grid, helping reduce wasted energy during battery formation, grading and testing processes. With active current sharing, CANBus communication, optional MODBus support and support for parallel operation, the BIC-5K-48 provides a flexible solution for energy storage systems, battery manufacturing facilities, marine charging systems and distributed energy applications.
