Description
The MEAN WELL NTN-5K-248 is a 48VDC input true sine wave inverter with built-in AC charger and UPS by-pass function, designed for off-grid, backup and mobile power applications requiring a 200 to 240VAC output range. It provides 5000W continuous rated power, 5750W over-rated power for 3 minutes, 7500W peak power for 10 seconds and 10000W surge power for 30 cycles. The model operates from a typical 38 to 66VDC input range and delivers 93% typical efficiency in inverter mode, with selectable AC output voltage and 50/60Hz frequency by DIP switch. Designed for lead acid or lithium batteries, it includes a 4200W maximum charger output, battery low voltage protection, reverse polarity protection, AC output short circuit protection, overload protection, overtemperature protection, UPS transfer time under 10ms, temperature controlled fan cooling, conformal coating and support for ModBus RTU / RS-485 or CANBus communication.
