Description
The MEAN WELL LOP-500-18 is a 500W class low profile open frame power supply designed for compact equipment requiring a regulated 18VDC output. It delivers 27.8A and 500.4W with 23CFM forced-air cooling, 16.7A and 300.6W under free air convection, and supports a 41.7A / 750.6W peak load for 3 seconds. The unit accepts 80-264VAC input with built-in PFC, provides 94.5% typical efficiency and includes an 18V output adjustment range of 17.1V to 18.9V. With a compact 127 x 76.2 x 30.5mm open frame design, low no-load power consumption below 0.5W, remote sense, 12V/0.5A external fan supply, low leakage and touch current, Class I or Class II installation suitability, 2xMOPP isolation and protection against short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature, the LOP-500-18 is suitable for industrial automation, security, medical, network, telecom and electronic equipment applications.
