Description
The KSI-01U is a USB interface providing galvanic isolated bidirectional access to the KNX bus line. It simplifies network configuration and reduces time-consuming tasks. The interface is used to access all bus-connected devices in the KNX system for functions such as commissioning, addressing, parameter settings, diagnostics, visualisation, and protocol handling.The interface connects a PC to the KNX bus using standard software like ETS, EITT (Raw Frame mode), and other tools. The FALCON driver handles communication and supports long message transfers up to 220 byte APDU. The KSI-01U also operates under systems not supported by FALCON (e.g. Linux) using the flexible cEMI protocol for communication between the host and the KNX interface.
