DLC-02-KN Series

DLC-02-KN is a KNX to DALI gateway used to connect a digital DALI lighting system to the KNX installation. It enables room-based lighting control units to be conveniently incorporated into higher-level KNX building management systems. The device converts switch and dimming commands from the connected KNX system into DALI telegrams and sends status information from the DALI bus back into KNX telegrams.It supports up to 128 DALI participants via two independent DALI buses with built-in 250mA power per bus, eliminating the need for an external DALI power supply. DLC-02-KN includes four built-in relays (250V/5A) for flexible switching of both dimmable and non-dimmable loads.The sequence function allows users to create brightness levels and colour gradients using 1–255 steps or unlimited cycles, ideal for entertainment and RGBW setups. With an embedded battery, all clock and timer data is preserved even in the event of AC power loss. The timer can be configured via ETS5/ETS6 to perform actions in real time, and its standby switch-off feature (e.g., via KAA-8R-S) helps reduce energy usage by cutting AC input to DALI ECGs when the DALI bus is off.
